Administration
Administration is an interdisciplinary study. Teaching involves providing the student with knowledge from many scientific disciplines, including legal sciences, politics and administration, management and quality studies, security studies, which translates into a variety of employment opportunities.
Completion of administration gives the graduate an excellent orientation in many spheres of public life, as well as knowledge and practical skills, enabling work in various positions requiring knowledge of legal regulations and their practical application. Administration graduates are prepared for clerical work at various levels in public administration (government and local government), in European Union institutions, uniformed services, in private and state-owned companies. They are also prepared to work in foundations, associations, real estate offices, insurance companies, banks and marketing departments of various companies.
Studies in the field of Administration, both full-time and part-time, are carried out in two stages:
Stage 1 - first-cycle studies lasting 3 years (6 semesters), completed with a bachelor's degree;
Stage 2 - second-cycle studies lasting 2 years (4 semesters), completed with a master's degree.
In the first-cycle studies we educate in three specializations: local government administration, administration of the judiciary and public safety administration, and in the second-cycle studies in two: local government administration and public safety administration.
In teaching, we combine theory with practice. During the workshops, we train on the principles of correct legislation and interpretation of regulations, and during student internships, our future graduates learn about the principles of operation of various administrative bodies and the process of making administrative decisions.
