Office for grants and scholarships for employees and students
The main purpose of the Office for Grants and Scholarships for employees and students of IPiA is:
a) supporting academic teachers in obtaining information about grants and assistance in obtaining them;
b) establishing international cooperation and implementing projects of this nature;
c) supporting students in obtaining information about scholarships and assistance in obtaining them.

IPA students
I. Scholarships for students of IPiA AP:
Under the scholarship fund of the Pomeranian University, students may apply for the following benefits:
- social scholarship,
- scholarship for people with disabilities,
- Rector's scholarship,
- grant.
1. Social scholarship is granted to people whose income per family member does not exceed PLN 1,045 net.
The relationship between family income and the amount of the scholarship is shown in the table below:

2. Scholarship for people with disabilities
A scholarship for the disabled may be awarded to a student due to a disability confirmed by a decision of a competent authority.
The amount of the scholarship for people with disabilities depends on the degree of disability, as shown in the following table:

3. Rector's scholarship
a) The Rector's scholarship may be awarded to a student who has achieved outstanding academic results, scientific or artistic achievements, or sports achievements in competition at least at the national level.
b) The Rector's scholarship is awarded to a student admitted to the first year of studies in the year of passing the high school finals, which is:
- a laureate of an international olympiad or a laureate or finalist of a central olympiad, referred to in the provisions on the education system;
- a medalist of at least a sports competition for the title of Polish Champion in a given sport, referred to in the regulations on sport.
The rector's scholarship for students is awarded per semester to the number of not more than 10% of the best students enrolled in a given field of study, jointly in full-time and part-time studies, separately for first-cycle and second-cycle students.
In the case of achieving the most outstanding results, it is possible to receive a scholarship of up to PLN 1,200 per month (the amount may change due to the financial capabilities of the university).

4. Grant is a form of non-repayable financial assistance. It may be granted to a student who is temporarily in a difficult life situation.
The allowance may be granted no more than twice in an academic year, and may not be granted twice in connection with the same situation.
The event given by the student as the basis for applying for the allowance should be documented and described in detail, illustrating the temporary difficult life situation in which the student and his family found themselves as a result of the above-mentioned circumstances.
The amount of the allowance is determined individually in each case, the Rector has the option of increasing it in exceptional, justified cases.

II. Minister's Scholarship for students for significant achievements:
Significant achievements can be considered those made at the following levels: scientific (mainly publishing and conference activity), artistic (mainly participation in the creation of a work of art - of a diverse nature), sports (mainly occupying high positions in the Olympic, world and European championships).
The applicant is the Rector, and it is only through him that the minister's scholarship can be applied for. This procedure begins and ends in October of a given academic year.
The scholarship is awarded for the academic year. The maximum amount of the scholarship is 17,000 PLN. Its exact amount awarded to each student is determined individually. The scholarship is paid by the university to the student from the funds provided for this purpose by the Minister.
